Host Bio:  Anna Stokke is a mathematics professor at the University of Winnipeg in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  She holds a PhD in mathematics.  She is an award-winning teacher, including the recipient of a 3M National Teaching Fellowship.  She is a passionate advocate for excellent math education for students of all ages.  She has given over 200 media interviews on math education and has written numerous editorials for both local and national newspapers.  She is the President and co-founder of the non-profit organization, Archimedes Math Schools, which delivers after-school math classes to children.  Visit www.annastokke.com for more information.
